After a long day on the slopes—and perhaps a few drinks at après—the last thing you may feel like doing is cooking dinner. That’s where we come in.
At Sauze Stayz, we offer a delicious menu of home-cooked meals, designed to satisfy hungry skiers and snowboarders with hearty, wholesome food. From simple suppers to indulgent celebration dinners, we have a variety of options to suit you and your group. Just speak to us via email before your stay or chat with us on arrival to discuss what’s available and tailor your meal choices.
Want to skip the supermarket on your first day? We can provide a personalised Welcome Hamper filled with essential items so you can settle in without the rush. Let us know in advance what you’d like, and we’ll make sure everything is ready and waiting for your arrival.
You can add both the welcome meal and hamper during the checkout process, and we’ll follow up to confirm your preferences.
Prefer to truly relax on your holiday? We can arrange daily or midweek housekeeping, so you don’t have to lift a finger—no bed-making or tidying required.
Housekeeping options can be selected at checkout when you book, or arranged directly with your hosts once you arrive.
At Sauze Stayz, we’re happy to help organise childcare during your stay. Whether you’re eager to explore the extensive slopes of the Milky Way or enjoy a night out in Sauze, we can ensure your little ones are well cared for.
We highly recommend La Libellula / Baby Parking, a wonderful creche conveniently located at the bottom of the Clotes ski run—making drop-off and pick-up quick and easy. The centre is thoughtfully run, offering plenty of toys and activities to keep your children entertained and happy throughout their holiday. The staff are fantastic, warm, and trustworthy, providing peace of mind while you enjoy your time on the mountain.
To book, visit the Baby Parking website and get in touch with Elisabetta directly.
If you prefer private childcare, just let us know when you book. Sophie, with her many years of nanny experience and extensive local contacts, can arrange trusted private carers to suit your needs.
Once you’ve booked your apartment and arranged your travel to Sauze d’Oulx, you may want to organise other important aspects of your holiday.
For great deals on ski holiday extras, we recommend Sauze Online at www.sauzeonline.com. From ski school and equipment hire to lift passes and transfers, you can conveniently book everything you need with just a few clicks.
Sauze Online also provides daily updates on resort conditions, lift status, and weather—keeping you informed throughout your stay.
There are several good ski schools that operate from Sauze d’Oulx, Sportinia. It is very easy to book on the day but if you would like to organise lessons in advance we are happy to help. We can recommend instructors and lessons to suit you and your ability. This can be particularly useful for the busier periods such as New Year and February Half Term.
We highly recommend Emily4Ski. Emily and Gemma Hawkins are both excellent instructors with great skill, care and patience. They will make the lessons fun and you will finish with much more confidence than you started with!
Book directly with Emily via her site: https://www.emily4ski.com/en/
For more information about lessons please contact us via our enquiry form below or email us directly, info@sauzestayz.com
Alternatively book directly through James and Sinead @sauzeonline. Their website provides an extensive guide to Sauze D’Oulx.
We can recommend the highest quality of rental equipment and fantastic service at Besson Sport. Guests staying at our apartments will be given a special discount code to receive a 15% discount when you book online. We can direct you from your accommodation to the shop upon arrival. If you wish to prebook, head to their website: https://www.sauzeskirental-besson.com/
If you prefer to wait until you arrive to sort your equipment, we can still guarantee a great discount on ski hire at various rental shops. Talk to us and we can point you in the direction of the shop that will best suit your needs.
When the snow melts the shop offers electric mountain bike hire and tours. We would highly recommend an evening tour with one of their guides to experience the mountain from a completely different perspective, with no one else but a marmot or two for miles. The views across the Via Lattea and the Gran Bosco national park are truly breathtaking.
Sauze d’Oulx is host to variety of wonderful bars, restaurants and other nightlife. Once known for being the San Antonio of the mountains, Sauze d’Oulx has shrugged it’s lager-lout image in exchange for a more sophisticated vibe. There is always plenty of live music and apertivi, giving the town it’s own unique charm.
Each of our holiday apartments has their own up-to-date guide to Sauze d’Oulx for your reference during your stay. Please talk to us on arrival and will share our top tips for your holiday and let you know of any special events that may occur during your stay.
If you would like any more information before you arrive please email info@sauzestayz.com. We will also be happy to make any reservations for you. During the busier periods this is highly recommended.
Over the course of the year Sauze plays host to a number of different events. From Capodanno (New Year) to Dutch Week and potato festivals, there is sure to be an event for you!
Why not be a part one of these events and let us accommodate you in one of our apartments?
